Outcome-directed Thinking
✨Many people begin their new year with goals, aspirations, resolutions, and tasks.
✨Often, we approach these outcomes with an unproductive mindset.
✨When we focus on the issues and obstacles rather than the outcome we wish to achieve, we don’t mindfully consider the opportunities available to us, and the various possibilities for achieving what we want.
✨By focusing on your intentions rather than the obstacles, you are using outcome-directed thinking. As you approach each of your specific goals, ask yourself these questions:
1. What do I want to achieve?
2. How will I know when I’ve reached this goal?
3. What is there to gain? Is it worth my efforts?
4. What resources do I need and how will I attain them?
5. What is the first step I need to take in order to achieve the outcome I want?
